Guoshun Group First Chinese Company to Achieve ACRS 3679.2 Certification

In November 2024, Guoshun Group was awarded the prestigious ACRS 3679.2 certification for steel products, becoming a leading company in the field of welded H-shaped steel and the first Chinese company to achieve this certification. This accomplishment signifies that Guoshun’s product quality meets the highest international standards, laying a solid foundation for further expansion in the Australian and New Zealand markets.

The ACRS (Australasian Certification Authority for Reinforcing and Structural Steels) certification is a widely recognized quality certification system in the construction and infrastructure industries of Australia and New Zealand. With this certification, Guoshun Group’s welded H-shaped steel products meet the requirements of the AS/NZS 3679.2:2016 standard, encompassing strict criteria on chemical composition, mechanical properties, dimensional tolerances, metallurgical structure, welding processes, and surface treatment.

The scope of this certification includes the following specifications for welded structural steel I-sections:

· Beams: Ranges from 800WB to 1200WB with web thicknesses of 10 to 20mm, applicable to Grades 300, 300L15, 400, and 400L15.

· Columns: Ranges from 350WC to 500WC with web thicknesses of 16 to 40mm, applicable to Grades 300, 300L15, 400, and 400L15.
