Guoshun Group was selected as the first "leader" enterprise of China's industrial carbon peak

Recently, the Third Forum on the Coordinated Development of the Belt and Road Initiative and the Building of a Manufacturing Powerhouse and the 2022 China Industrial Carbon Summit Forum were held in Hainan Province. At the meeting, the list of "the first Chinese industrial carbon peak 'leader' enterprises" was released, and a total of 42 outstanding enterprises were selected. Guoshun Group, by virtue of its important measures, core advantages and remarkable achievements in the green and low-carbon transformation development, has successfully been selected as the "leader" enterprise of China's industrial carbon peak.

As a leading enterprise in environmental governance, Guoshun Group implements the new development concept put forward by the Top 20, adheres to "systematic governance" and "overall development", adopts the mode of "emission reduction at the source, process control and management at the end", and drives by the dual wheel of "ecological environmental protection + zero-carbon building". With the layout of air pollution control projects and operation projects throughout the country, as well as the construction, replication and promotion of zero-carbon demonstration parks with "integrated development of one, two, three industries" as the starting point, the collaborative management of pollution reduction and carbon reduction has been realized, and good economic and social benefits have been achieved, solutions and replicable models have been found for the realization of China's industrial carbon peak, and high-quality sustainable development of regional economy has been facilitated.

This is the first time that the China Federation of Industrial Economics, together with the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and the National Energy Administration, has conducted the "China Industrial Carbon Summit 'Leader' Enterprise" selection campaign, aiming to recognize, share and publicize the achievements and experience of advanced enterprises in green and low-carbon development. The activity lasted for nearly a year. Through the review of experts from relevant departments, local governments, industries and think tanks, 42 "leaders" of China's industrial carbon peak were finally selected from more than 280 key enterprises.
