The investigation team inspected the construction of the bridge, asphalt concrete pavement and bus station under construction, and listened to the detailed report of the project leader on the progress of the project and the difficulties faced at present. The delegation appreciated the recent efforts made by the project department and the great improvement in the image of the project, congratulated and thanked the project department for reaching the expected target set by the African Development Bank at the beginning of the year one month ahead of schedule, and gave high evaluation to the contribution made by the project in alleviating the traffic condition of The City during this stage.

The representative of THE African Development Bank said that the BRT project in Tanzania, undertaken by Shandong Guoshun, as the first bus rapid transit project of the African Development Bank, has attracted attention from all walks of life, and the visit is also undertaken by the African Development Bank to investigate such projects in Africa. Given the importance of the project as a model, the African Development Bank plans to use it as a model project for other countries and cities to improve their increasingly congested traffic. At the same time, the representative of the African Development Bank requested the owner to solve and coordinate the difficulties and problems encountered in the project as soon as possible, and strive to open the project at an early date for the benefit of the Tanzanian people.

Section 1 of BRT-2 of Tanzania City Rapid Transit is constructed by Shandong Guoshun. The project is located in the middle of Dar es Salaam, the largest city in Tanzania.
