  Recently, two rod-arch Bridges in the first phase of the municipal project in Cuizhai South Area of Jinan starting Area have completed the main construction after overall careful planning and careful deployment, laying a foundation for the full opening of municipal roads in this area.

   According to the introduction, the first phase of the municipal project in the south area of Cuizhai contains 9 roads, with a total length of 12.457 kilometers, including Cuiqing Road, Cuiqing Branch Road, Trunk Road 1, Jieying Road, North Boundary Road, Hengshi Road, City Exhibition Hall Ring Road, West Ring Road, and Water Plant South Road. As an important part of the city road network, the two arc bridge bridge located in waterworks south road and XieYing road across the qing ning groove position, waterworks south road arch bridge span 51.5 m, the upper structure for Nielsen system arc bridge, rise-span ratio of 1:5, 53 m XieYing road arch bridge spans, the upper structure for Jane branches, hanging, rise-span ratio of 1:5.

   Both arch Bridges are constructed by direct hoisting with brackets. "The main steel beam of Shuichang South Road is divided into two overhangs and middle main beams, which are divided into 30 sections, the arch rib is divided into three sections, the wind brace is divided into three sections, and the steel arch on each side of Jieying Road is divided into five sections." In the project construction site, the workers take the section as the unit, first longitudinal ring, first structure after plate seam, first welding welding with large amount of fusion, after welding welding with small amount of fusion, methodically lift welding work. During the hoisting and welding process, the elevation of steel box girder, arch rib, arch rib axis, foundation settlement and arch seat movement were observed in real time to ensure the safety, stability and quality of the whole process.
