Xiaoqinghe Steel Structure Bridge

Recently, the provincial Xiaoqing River comprehensive management leading group came to our city to supervise and inspect the comprehensive management of ecological environment in Xiaoqing River Basin. Vice Mayor Wang Xinwen attended the event.

The provincial steering group successively inspected the progress of the construction project of the reclaimed water station and supporting pipe network in Jinniu Park, the greening and beautification project on both sides of Xiaoqing River phase II project, the progress of Luohe comprehensive treatment and Luohe artificial wetland water purification project, the progress of the construction project of Diao town wetland Park and the progress of Baiyun Lake ecological wetland water purification phase I project, and held a symposium, Listened to the report on the comprehensive treatment of ecological environment in Xiaoqing River Basin of our city. At the meeting, the steering group affirmed the achievements of the comprehensive management of the ecological environment of Xiaoqing River Basin in our city in recent years.

At present, the second phase of Xiaoqing River comprehensive treatment project in our city has completed 90% of the total quantities. The newly-built river landscape greening covers an area of 1.932 million square meters, forming a 31 km ecological landscape river and a 23 km water tourism River from Beijing Fuzhou Expressway to Hongyuan sluice. In the next step, the city will strive to complete the sewage interception and treatment of 24 river channels such as Daxin River, Xingji River and laobaliqiaogou by the end of March next year, basically solve the problem of direct sewage discharge in urban built-up areas by the end of 2013, and eliminate the inferior five types of water bodies in all provincial and municipal controlled key polluted rivers by the end of 2015.
